Gardening With Wildlife – A Bird’s Perspective

Gardening With Wildlife Sonoma County Master Gardeners
Sat, April 5, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Presented By: Sonoma County Master Gardener Mary Ellen King

Want to augment your pleasure in the garden by increasing your knowledge of and contact with wildlife – especially the birds that inhabit it? The key to having a rich variety of bird life in your garden – or life of any sort for that matter – is understanding the principle of the ecological niche. No one kind of food, nesting site, hiding place, foraging area, or bathing location is likely to satisfy every kind of bird. The more variety you have in your garden, the more species of birds you are likely to have living there.

Come take a walk through the newly developing garden at Los Guilicos and learn about increasing the diversity in your garden and how to think like a bird!

Registration Required. Go to Click Here or http://sonomamg.ucanr.edu/ Upcoming Events to complete your registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about attending the talk.
