Art Journaling is a visual diary, a creative personal journal, and a place to record your thoughts, memories, emotions, and ideas. No experience necessary, just a willingness to explore and experiment!

Join this 4-week class to:

  • Learn the principles and guidelines for creative expression
  • Learn to trust your intuition in creative process
  • Explore mixed media techniques
  • Practice mindfulness and being in the moment

4 Thursdays
Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28; 1-3 p.m.

Members: $60; Non-Members: $80 (SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE!)

Plus a one-time materials fee of $15. Students will need an art journaling book.

Class minimum: 6; Class max: 12

Register by Jan. 28; class may be cancelled if minimum enrollment not met.

About the Instructor: Shelley Rae has her B.A in Art/Design and an M.A. in Art Therapy. Shelley has over 30 years of experience working in the creative arts as a painter, collage artist, graphic designer, and jewelry designer. She has taught creative arts classes at the SRJC, Mendocino Art Center, Sebastopol Center for the Arts, and Sonoma State University.
